You deal with me, not an account manager

SR7 Web Design is me, George, working from Seaham in County Durham. There is no team behind the name. I take the first call, write the quote, design and build the site, and answer the phone after it goes live.

That matters more than it sounds. With a larger agency your job gets passed from a salesperson to a project manager to a designer to a developer, and every hand-off loses something. Here, the person you explained your business to is the person who builds your website.

Who I work with

Trades, training providers, salons, cafés, garages and small local firms, mostly across Seaham, Sunderland, Durham, Hartlepool and Newcastle. Most of my clients have never commissioned a website before, or have one that was thrown together years ago and brings in nothing. Either way, I explain things in plain English and don’t add anything you didn’t ask for.

How I work

• Scope and price are written down before anything is built. No surprise invoices.
• Every site is built on WordPress with a custom theme, not a page builder, so it loads quickly and you can update it yourself.
• The domain, hosting account and every file are in your name. If you ever want to move it elsewhere, you can.
• Support after launch if you want it, none if you don’t.
