Web design in Seaham

Websites for Seaham trades and small businesses, built in Seaham by the person you deal with.

Seaham is where I live and work, so if you run a business anywhere from Dawdon to Seaton I can be sat in front of you with a laptop within the hour. Most of my Seaham projects start that way: a conversation about what you do, who you want to reach and what the website needs to do for you.

What Seaham businesses tend to need

Seaham has a lot of trades, a busy seafront and a growing number of small independents, and most of them don’t need anything elaborate. They need a site that says clearly what they do, shows up when someone local searches for it, and makes it easy to ring or send a message. That’s what I build.

A typical Seaham site is a Starter or Growth package: a handful of well-written pages, photos of your actual work, a contact form, and the Google Business Profile set up so you appear on the map for searches in the SR7 area.

Local search in Seaham

For a small town, showing up for “near me” searches matters more than ranking nationally. That comes down to a properly set up Google Business Profile, consistent business details, and a website that says where you are and what you cover. I set all of that up as part of every build.

Recent work near Seaham

Treemasters Arboricultural & Forestry is a tree surgery and forestry business covering Seaham and County Durham. Their site has one job: get the phone ringing. Service pages written for the jobs people search for, area coverage, a quote form, and the phone number where you can find it on every screen size.

KPM First Aid Training is an independent first aid and lifesaving trainer in Newcastle covering the North East. Their old site was rebuilt from scratch: a custom WordPress theme, course pages people can book from, an RLSS UK training section, reviews, gallery and enquiry form, with redirects from every old page so nothing already found on Google was lost.

Both are live and shown as they are today on the work page.

Questions Seaham businesses ask

How much will it cost?

Starter is £295, Growth is £595 and most local businesses choose Growth. Anything bespoke, such as booking, members or payments, is £995 and up. The price is agreed in writing before I start, and that is the price you pay.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the agreed project balance has been paid, the website and its content belong to you, and your domain should remain registered to you. If you use SR7 Managed Website Care, the hosting account itself is operated by SR7 Web Design, but your website can be exported and transferred to another provider if you leave.

If you want me to look after it afterwards, Website Care is £25 a month on your own hosting, or Managed Website Care is £50 a month with hosting included. Both can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. I’m in Seaham, so for local jobs I’ll meet you before the quote and again at review if it helps.

I only have a Facebook page. Is that enough?

It works until someone searches your business name on Google and finds nothing. A straightforward website with a contact form, linked to your Google Business Profile, catches the people who would otherwise ring the next firm on the list.

What do you need from me?

A conversation about what you do and who you want to reach, photos of your real work, and your business details. I write the pages. You check them before anything goes live.
