George, SR7 Web Design

You deal with me, not an account manager.

SR7 Web Design is me, George, working from Seaham. I take the first call, I write the quote, I build the site and I answer the phone afterwards.

No account managers, no passing your job between departments. I explain things in plain English, agree the scope up front, and don't add things you didn't ask for.

  • One point of contact from first call to launch
  • Scope and price written down before I start
  • No jargon, no upselling, no surprise invoices
  • Your website and domain stay yours, wherever it's hosted

How a project runs

  1. A conversation

We talk through what you do, who you want to reach and what the site needs to do for you. Phone, in person or by email.

  2. A fixed quote

You get a written quote listing the pages and features included. Nothing starts until you're happy with it.

  3. Design and build

I build the site and send you a private link to review. You tell me what to change and I change it.

  4. Launch and handover

The site goes live on your domain. You get the logins, a walkthrough of how to update it, and support if you want it.

Pricing

Three starting points. Every quote lists exactly what is included, so there's nothing to argue about later.

Questions people ask

How much does a website cost?

From £295. Most local businesses choose Growth at £595. Anything with custom functionality is quoted individually and starts at £995. The quote lists what's included before you commit to anything.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the agreed project balance has been paid, the website and its content belong to you. Your domain should remain registered to you. If you use SR7 Managed Website Care, the hosting account itself is operated by SR7 Web Design, but your website can be exported and transferred to another provider if you leave.

How long does it take?

As a guide, most sites take one to two weeks once I have your content and photos. That's an estimate, not a promise: the main thing that slows a project down is waiting for text, so I'll help you get that together early.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. Every site is built on WordPress and I show you how to change text, prices and photos. If you'd rather not touch it, send me the changes and I'll do them.

I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?

Sometimes. If it's built on something sensible and the problems are cosmetic, small fixes may be enough. If it's slow, dated or built on an old builder, a rebuild is usually cheaper than patching. I'll tell you which honestly.

Will my business show up on Google?

Every site is set up correctly for local search from day one: page titles, location details and a Google Business Profile that matches the site. That gives you a solid footing. I don't promise rankings, because nobody honestly can.

Do you work outside County Durham?

Yes. Most of my clients are in Seaham, Sunderland, Durham, Hartlepool and Newcastle, but I work with businesses across the North East and further afield by phone and email.

What do you need from me?

A conversation about your business, your logo if you have one, some photos of your work, and the services and areas you want to cover. I'll guide you through the rest.

What happens if something is wrong after launch?

Genuine faults in the original build are corrected free for 30 days after launch. New changes, extra features or additional work are separate.

Seaham and the North East

Based in Seaham, County Durham. I meet local clients in person and work with the rest by phone and email.

If your area isn't listed, get in touch anyway. Distance doesn't change how the work is done.
