SR7 Services and pricing

Services, priced up front.

New websites, online shops, booking systems, refreshes, SEO, care and hosting for businesses across the North East and beyond. Everything is done by me, priced before it starts, and built so you own the result.

02

Online shops

Ecommerce that sells as well as it looks, on the phone in your customer’s hand.

Product and category pages, filters, search, baskets and checkout, designed around how people actually shop on a phone, with product photography treated properly and search work that finds you for what you sell, not just your name. Quoted as a Bespoke project.

03

Booking, payments and members

Journeys that go somewhere, not a contact form with a new label.

Multi-step booking forms, quote estimators that return a price on the page, deposits and payments where they’re needed, and member areas with accounts and contributions. Everything validates properly, works with a keyboard and a screen reader, and reaches a real confirmation.

04

Website refresh and rebuilds

Keep what already works on Google. Replace what doesn’t.

If you already have a site that looks dated, loads slowly or brings in nothing, I rebuild it in a way that keeps the pages and addresses that already rank on Google, with a permanent redirect for anything that moves. Sometimes a smaller fix is enough; I’ll tell you honestly which it is.

05

Local and technical SEO

The foundations that let Google understand and trust your site.

Google Business Profile set up or tidied, page titles and descriptions written properly, structured data, sitemaps, redirects and the technical basics that help a local business show up when someone nearby searches for what you do. I don’t promise rankings, because nobody honestly can, but I make sure the foundations are right.

06

Performance and accessibility

Fast on a patchy signal. Usable by everyone.

Responsive AVIF and WebP images, self-hosted fonts, minimal JavaScript and films that only load when they should, measured with Lighthouse on the live site rather than claimed. Accessibility is built in from the start: semantic HTML, keyboard operation, visible focus, proper contrast and forms that explain their errors.

07

Content, imagery and campaign assets

Words, photographs and film that make the site feel real.

Page copy written in plain English, photography and film direction, brand palettes and type systems, promotional reels of the finished site for social media, and launch assets sized for every platform.

08

Custom functionality

When the website is really a system.

Custom WordPress plugins for catalogues, moderation, job management, invoicing, SMS and integrations. The business logic lives in the plugin rather than the theme, so it survives any future redesign.

09

Content changes

New prices, new photos, small amendments.

Send it over and I make the change, or I show you how to do it yourself. Care plans include up to 30 minutes of small changes each month. Ad-hoc website support without a care plan is £50 an hour, billed in 30-minute increments. New pages and bigger jobs are quoted before any work starts.

Free website review

An honest look at what’s holding your current site back.

Send me your web address and I’ll tell you plainly what is holding it back, whether or not you go ahead with anything. Request a review.

Measured Performance, accessibility and SEO

Beautiful is the start. Fast, accessible and findable is the job.

Questions

Before you ask

How much does a website cost?

From £295. Most local businesses choose Growth at £595. Anything with custom functionality is quoted individually and starts at £995. The quote lists what’s included before you commit to anything.

Do I own the website?

Yes. Once the agreed project balance has been paid, the website and its content belong to you. Your domain should remain registered to you. If you use SR7 Managed Website Care, the hosting account itself is operated by SR7 Web Design, but your website can be exported and transferred to another provider if you leave.

How long does it take?

As a guide, most sites take one to two weeks once I have your content and photos. That’s an estimate, not a promise: the main thing that slows a project down is waiting for text, so I’ll help you get that together early.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. I show you how to change text, prices and photos. If you’d rather not touch it, send me the changes and I’ll do them.

I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?

Sometimes. If it’s built on something sensible and the problems are cosmetic, small fixes may be enough. If it’s slow, dated or built on an old builder, a rebuild is usually cheaper than patching. I’ll tell you which honestly.

Will my business show up on Google?

Every site is set up correctly for local search from day one: page titles, location details and a Google Business Profile that matches the site. That gives you a solid footing. I don’t promise rankings, because nobody honestly can.

Do you work outside County Durham?

Yes. Most of my clients are in Seaham, Sunderland, Durham, Hartlepool and Newcastle, but I work with businesses across the North East and further afield by phone and email.

What do you need from me?

A conversation about your business, your logo if you have one, some photos of your work, and the services and areas you want to cover. I’ll guide you through the rest.

What happens if something is wrong after launch?

Genuine faults in the original build are corrected free for 30 days after launch. New changes, extra features or additional work are separate.
