Who it’s for

Built for

  • Trades and home services who need the phone to ring
  • Salons, clinics, barbers and studios that sell on atmosphere
  • Cafés, restaurants and hospitality with menus and bookings
  • Training providers, consultants and professional firms
  • Anyone whose current site came from a template and looks it

The problems it solves

What usually goes wrong, and what I do about it.

01

The site looks like everyone else’s

Template sites share layouts, stock photos and the same three icons. I design from your business outwards: your colours, your photographs, your words, your customers’ questions.

02

Nobody can find it

Pages are planned around real searches before a word is written: one page per service, one honest page about where you work, and the technical groundwork Google needs to understand them.

03

It’s slow and awkward on a phone

Most visitors arrive on a phone, often on a weak signal. I design the phone layout first and build without page builders, so there’s nothing heavy sitting between the visitor and your content.

04

You can’t change anything yourself

Where you need to edit prices, services or photos, the site is built on WordPress with a custom theme, and I show you how to use it. Where speed matters most, a hand-built static site keeps it lean.

What SR7 provides

What’s included.

  • A design made for your business: layout, typography, colour and imagery chosen to fit, not a theme with your logo on top
  • Page copy written in plain English around what your customers search for, or editing of yours
  • A mobile-first build with responsive images, self-hosted fonts and minimal JavaScript
  • Contact forms with spam protection that people can actually complete, and click-to-call on every page
  • Local search groundwork: titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap and a Google Business Profile that matches the site
  • Accessibility built in (keyboard use, contrast, clear forms) and checked before launch
  • Launch on your domain, logins handed over, and a walkthrough of how to update it

Process

How it runs.

  1. Step 01

    Conversation

What you do, who you want to reach, and what the site needs to do. By phone, video or over a coffee if you’re local.

  2. Step 02

    Fixed quote

A written quote listing every page and feature. Nothing starts until you’re happy with it.

  3. Step 03

    Design

The homepage and key pages designed first, on a private link, so you see the direction before the full build.

  4. Step 04

    Build and review

The whole site built and shared. You tell me what to change; I change it.

  5. Step 05

    Launch

Live on your domain with redirects, analytics and Search Console set up. Faults in the original build are fixed free for 30 days.

Pricing

What it costs.

Most small-business sites fit one of three starting points: Starter £295 (up to five pages), Growth £595 (up to ten pages, with a blog and local search for the areas you cover) and Bespoke from £995 for booking, payments, shops or anything custom. Payment is 50% to start and the balance before launch. Full pricing and what’s included.

Questions

Web design questions

Do you use templates or page builders?

No. Every site is designed for the business in front of me and built by hand, either as a custom WordPress theme when you need to edit content, or as a hand-built static site when speed and simplicity matter most.

Do you build on WordPress?

Often, yes: custom WordPress themes and plugins for businesses that want to update their own content. KPM First Aid Training and Treemasters are both custom WordPress builds. For some projects a static build is the better choice, and I’ll explain which suits you.

How long does a small-business website take?

As a guide, one to two weeks for most sites once I have your content and photos. Larger or bespoke builds are scheduled when we agree the quote.

Do you work outside the North East?

Yes. I’m based in Seaham and meet local clients in person, but I work with businesses anywhere in the UK by phone, video and email.
